Schoolcraft College will be hosting a free Wellness Fair tomorrow, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the St. Joe’s Sports Dome to educate students, staff, faculty and community members about the importance of health and wellness.
There will be over 30 vendors such local health food stores, fitness/wellness centers, gyms and
healthcare providers on site to answer any questions on how they can help attendees make the
most of their well-being. Attendees can try yoga at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The Schoolcraft College Campus Police will be doing a self-defense demonstration at 11:00 a.m.
Fitness Assessments, Hearing Exams, Chair Massages, free samples from Urge Juice & Encore Nutrition will be available throughout the course of the event.
The event coordinators of this fair believe that this event will help people make healthier choice and create a more relaxed setting as a community event here than at a hospital or a gym.
