Schoolcraft College celbrated Diwali on November 1, 2025 in the DiPionio Room of the Vistatech Center. Diwali is the Hindu "Festival of Lights," a five-day celebration symbolizing the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.

On Saturday, October 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. volunteers gathered for the Friends of the Rouge Fall Bug Hunt to help with hands-on restoration and stewardship efforts throughout the Rouge River watershed in Wayne County.
