Country-hit maker visits Ann Arbor

Grammy-award winning country artist Kacey Musgraves is bringing her headlining concert tour, Same Tour Different Trailer, to the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor on April 8 at 7:30 pm. Her album titled, Same Trailer Different Park in 2013 debuted at number 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums list in to critical acclaim. Musgraves went on to receive the honor of best country album at the 55th annual Grammy Awards, along with winning Album of the Year at the 2014 American Country Music Awards. She also won the award for Song of the Year at the 2014 Country Music Awards for her track “Follow Your Arrow.” The set will include Musgraves past hits along with her newest single “Biscuits” released March 17.
Musgraves is a Nashville based singer/songwriter known for her country and folk inspired music. Upon her albums release, she was the first solo female to have a No.1 debut album in five years. She most recently served as the opening act for Katy Perry’s highly successful Prismatic Tour. Musgraves is also set for her new album to be released, teasing fans with the release of the country-twanged “Biscuits.”
“I think it’s the perfect preview to the record we had so much fun making it,” said Musgraves in an interview with Rolling Stone.
Musgraves tour stop is represented by the Ark. Purchase tickets now for Kacey Musgraves concert stop at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor on Wednesday April 8. Doors open at 7 p.m. and show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $30 to $40.
