Daze come and gone

Over 25 vendors stopped by School Daze to give away freebies to festival attendees

Every year, near the end of September, the Student Activities Office hosts a festival known as School Daze. This is a two-day festival in the heart of campus, where 30 student clubs and 25 plus organizations are available for students to stop and talk to. Spanning between September 23 and 24, School Daze has become a Schoolcraft tradition for the past 20 years. In addition to school related organizations, vendors like Pancheros, AEG Live, and many other sponsors gave away freebies to attendees. From hot dog eating contests to volleyball games and a mainstage chubby bunny competition, a fun challenge was always waiting. DJ Jason George kept everyone dancing by playing all sorts of different music. Overall, 3,000 students, staff and faculty attended the festival helping make it another successful year.
