The Schoolcraft Ocelots Men’s Ice Hockey team put up a good fight against the Michigan State Police Hockey Club during the fourth annual benefit hockey game, March 7 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich. Even though in the end the score was 8-3 in favor of the Troopers, it was a win-win for all involved. A crowd of more than 250 people were on hand to show their support for the cause.
Over $3,000 was raised and all proceeds went to the Michigan State Trooper Assistance Fund (MSTAF) to support fallen troops or troops injured in the line of duty. This fund helps the families of the troopers so that their families receive their due support.
