Women’s Basketball Awards
Catarina Jaurez
Guard Catarina Jaurez earned an MCCAA Second team All-Eastern Conference honors. Jaurez averaged 11.3 PPG, 3.5 assists per game and shot over 40% for the season.
Ruby Garner
Freshman guard Ruby Garner earned an MCCAA third All-Eastern Conference team honors. Garner averaged 9.2 PPG during the season and the 7th highest FG% in the Eastern Conference shooting 46% and averaging 3.5 steals/game.
Heaven Rogers
Freshman forward Heaven Rogers also earned an MCCAA third team All-Eastern Conference honors. Rogers shot the fourth highest percentage in the MCCAA with an impressive 54 percent on field goals as well as averaged 8.2 ppg and 7.5 rebounds per game.
Eve Parrish
Freshman forward Eve Parrish earned an MCCAA third team All-Eastern Conference honors. Parrish averaged 9.4 ppg and had the second highest field goal percentage in the MCCAA with over 55%.
Samantha Smith
Sophomore Samantha Smith earned MCCAA Honorable Mention All-Eastern Conference honors. Smith had a career high 14 blocks versus Owens.
Jaurez, Garner, and Parish all earned MCCAA Eastern Conference All-Freshman team honors.
Smith and Garner both received MCCAA Eastern Conference All-Defensive team honors. Smith was fifth in the MCCAA in blocks with 56 totals.
Men’s Basketball Awards
Keionte Cornelius
Guard Keionte Cornelius received MCCAA Second Team All-Eastern Conference honors. Cornelius finished second in the MCCAA in scoring with a staggering 25.6 PPG.
Jamoni Jones
Guard Jamoni Jones received MCCAA Third Team All-Eastern Conference honors. Jones averaged 13.3 PPG.
Men’s and Women’s Bowling Awards
Tyler Brown received the 2022 NJCAA Region XII Men’s Bowling All Region award. Brown also won the Doubles Champions honors with teammate Jim Knorp. MCCAA first team honors. Brown caps off an impressive season with the prestigious honors of being one of the best bowlers in the entire MCCAA conference.
Kaylee Schoffler received the 2022 NJCAA Region XII Women’s Bowling All-Region award. Schoffler also won the Doubles Champions with teammate Rylan Owens. She also received MCCAA first team and MCCAA Freshman first team. Schoffler made an immediate impact on the hardwood, and was one of the only true freshman bowlers to receive the MCCAA first team honors.
Allison Little was awarded the NJCAA Region XII All Region Singles Champion award.
