Ocelots Move to 11-0, 2-0 in Conference Play
Team honors former head coach Karen LaFata in half time ceremony

Schoolcraft Women’s Basketball moved to an undefeated 11-0 record on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. It was a big night for Schoolcraft with a big win against Mott and the honoring of legendary coach Karen LaFata at halftime. The Ocelots had a commanding lead after 40 minuts of play as Schoolcraft was victorious 70-46. #24 Makaiya Thomas led the charge on offense as she posted 17 points on 50% shooting from the field. Schoolcraft passed the ball at will, registering 21 assists on 28 field goals. #12 Ruby Garner tallied 5 assists on the night, leading the team, as #4 Eve Parrish and #11 Hunter Conway were right behind Garner with 4 a piece. #35 Taylor Williams logged key minutes off of the bench for Schoolcraft, tallying 17 minutes, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 12 points. 13 Ocelots saw game action on the night.
