The Ocelots women's basketball team suffered their first defeat against Jackson College. Schoolcraft's comeback effort fell short as they ultimately lost by a score of 76-68 on February 1, 2023.
The Ocelots women’s basketball team suffered their first defeat against Jackson College. Schoolcraft’s comeback effort fell short as they ultimately lost by a score of 76-68. With 2:30 remaining in the third quarter, Schoolcraft trailed 50-26 before they closed out the third quarter with a 15-6 run to enter the third quarter down 15. Schoolcraft got as close as 7 in the fourth quarter but couldn’t break past that number. Hunter Conway led the Ocelots with 29 points, including 13-14 from the free throw line. Ruby Garner and Makaiya Thomas joined Conway in double figures, going 15 and 10 points respectfully.
