Connection staff visits MOCAD Museum and The Shipping Co to showcase local businesses in and around Detroit

On a sunny mild February 26, 2023 afternoon, the Schoolcraft Connection editors, Armando Saucedo (Multimedia), Sara Mallory (Campus Life), Marissa Getschman (Arts and Entertainment), and Izzy Allie (Photo) visited MOCAD Museum and The Shipping Co. They visited MOCAD to spotlight and bring awareness to  local museums and hidden gems around Detroit.

MOCAD is located at 4454 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48201. The staff encourages you to visit local museums because it is important to support local artists. They also encourage you to visit The Shipping Co on 474 Peterboro St, Detroit, MI 48201. They serve a wide variety of foods including but not limited to dumplings, pita wraps, jerk chicken, and so much more!
