“Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” begins with a dramatic opener, as Potter faces a temporary expulsion from Hogwarts after being forced to use a Patronus charm to protect himself from attacking dementors. New salient clues and striking questions emerge when Potter is granted insight into his mother and father through the memories of Professor Severus Snape, played by actor Alan Rickman.
The plot reaches its peak, when Umbridge gains the two vindictive victories of exposing Dumbledore’s Army and being appointed the new headmistress of Hogwarts. The trio set forth to continue their quest to find the Dark Lord’s weapon, while simultaneously attempting to bring justice to Umbridge.
