The 3rd Annual Black Excellence in the Arts Awards Ceremony took place on Thursday, February 20, 2025 in the Vistatech Center, Sutherland Room. This years event showcased the winning the Arts Awards Contest event nominees and their work, alongside this year's Trail Blazer and Pathfinder Award winners in celebration of Black History Month's 2025 theme:"Let the Light Rise in the Darkness."

Speakers included Opening remarks by Dr. Glenn Cerny (Schoolcraft College President) and Keynote Speaker: Hakim Nathaniel Crampton (Social Justice Advocate, Education Consultant, and Author of Making The Case for Justice.
Attendees were treated to a complementary strolling buffet.
