Registration for spring, summer and fall 2020 semesters are now open and students are encouraged to visit WebAdvisor to view available classes.

Spring classes will begin May 9; summer classes, July 6; and fall classes Aug. 31. Historically, classes must be paid for within three days of enrollment, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this deadline is currently being waived.

Upon visiting the Schoolcraft website, students will be met with a message that reads:

“Spring 2020 traditional face-to-face, hybrid and off-campus spring classes are being reviewed to provide students with effective learning options based on recent COVID-19 concerns. Keep checking the schedule for additions.”

Despite this, there will be no changes to online classes during the spring school year. They will be conducted as scheduled. In fact, there are more online classes this year, than any previous year.

In addition, there is also a unique scholarship opportunity presented with the rise of distance learning classes. Scholarship awards of up to $500 are being offered to students for choosing to enroll in spring or summer classes.

“Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Schoolcraft College Foundation is able to offer students an outstanding opportunity to make progress on their educational goalsduring this time of crisis,” states Schoolcraft College Vice President, Dr. Cheryl M. Hagen, in a recent press release. “We’ve been able to transition nearly all of our traditional, lecture-type classes to a distance-learning format with excellent levels of support for students who may be new to online learning.”

For those who need assistance signing up for classes, all advising services are being done remotely, by phone or through email.

Any questions or concerns can be voiced with advisors, allowing them to help formulate a plan for students unsure of their path.
