Student Activities Board to host relaxing picnic lunch

Ben Bolstrum, Staff Writer

This Thursday, Sept. 26 from 1 to 3 p.m., The Student Activities Board (SAB) is hosting a Social Picnic for anyone looking for an opportunity to relax and decompress from the responsibilities and stress of college life as well as meet friends. Located between the lawn of the Liberal Arts and Forum buildings, this event will provide volleyball and cornhole for those with a competitive spirit as well as free food, drinks and a good time for all who come. Blankets and towels will not be provided, so please be sure to pack one.
“The social picnic event was created to offer students a time and place to enjoy campus life around or between classes,” explained Allison Lee, President of the Student Activities Board. “The picnic includes music, free food and activities such as volleyball and cornhole. We are hoping for good weather so students can join us.”
Listen to some music and eat good food while talking to fellow students at the upcoming Social Picnic, the perfect respite after a busy start to college.
