Phi Theta Kappa to host informal introduction induction

Ben Bolstrum, Staff Writer

The Omicron Iota chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is hosting an informal induction this Thursday, Dec. 5, from 6 to  p.m. in the Wilson Room (W205) of the VisTaTech Center. This event is meant to serve as a low-key initiation into the group versus the larger more formal induction at the end of winter semester.
“It is a commemoration of academic achievements and the signing of our member book,” states Matthew Fular, President of Phi Theta Kappa. “If you will not be attending next semester or you are not a fan of formalities, this is the induction event to attend.”
Attendees can expect a speech as well as the history of the formation of PTK and how it has improved lives.
