The Schoolcraft Women's Basketball team got back into the win column after their 2 game slide. The Ocelots were able to defeat the Monarchs from Macomb by a score of 47-38 on February 8, 2023.
The Schoolcraft Women’s Basketball team got back into the win column after their 2 game slide. The Ocelots were able to defeat the Macomb Monarchs 47-38. Defense was key in the game for the Ocelots, forcing 21 Monarch turnovers for the contest. Ruby Garner was the only Ocelot in double figures, registering 16 points (6-9) and also 4 rebounds. Makaiya Thomas led Schoolcraft in rebounds with her hauling in 8 boards. Samantha Smith kept the defense going for the reserves, grabbing 7 rebounds and also swatting away 3 shots.
