Schoolcrafts’ October Student Employee of the Month is Farah Nairoukh. Her role is working in the Admissions Center as a student assistant, located in the McDowell Center. Her department handles student enrollment, transfer student enrollment and dual enrollment. Nairoukhstarted working there at the end of April, early March of last year. 

In her time working at the Admission Center, Nairoukh has assisted with student applications, answers phone calls, organizes the office and helps students when they get locked out of their account. When asked what her favorite part of working at the admissions center was, she stated “I love the environment and the people I work with.” 

Nairoukh started at Schoolcraft two years ago, shortly after moving to the United States from Aman, Jordan. At Schoolcraft, she is working toward her associate degree, with hopes to transfer to Eastern Michigan University. Nairoukh wants to study Cyber Security and Coding. She explained how one of her favorite parts of working at the office is working with the computers, she feels as if it is preparing her for her future.
