This month, the Connection witnessed the start of a new era at Schoolcraft College as
Dr. Glenn Cerny officially took the office of President and began a new chapter in the institution’s history. Dr. Cerny replaces Dr. Conway Jeffress who retired July 31 after serving the college for the past 19 years as president.
Dr. Cerny is no stranger to the college as he has served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since 2010
As the voice of the student body, The Connection aims to serve as a communication bridge between the administration and the campus community.
We wish the best for Dr. Cerny and the college as we enter a new era under his leadership. We are eager to support him and all his accomplishments and look forward to covering stories that benefit our campus community.
This has undoubtedly been a year of change, and while Schoolcraft changes with the rest of the world, it’s our hope that the Connection can work with Dr. Cerny in continuing to help make Schoolcraft a place where students thrive.
