As we round off the first month of the new year, Schoolcraft finds itself as a finalist for Detroit Free Press’ Best of the Best Detroit Awards.

The contest, which started on Jan. 6, looks to highlight the best of the community and has a plethora of categories to cast your vote.

Schoolcraft is currently competing against Baker College of Auburn Hills, Macomb Community College, Oakland University and Wayne State University for the designation of being the best local college. Schoolcraft, which has been a staple in the community for 60 years now, could add another recognition to the already long list. The community can vote now until Friday, Feb. 5 at 12:59 p.m. on which college should be crowned “the best.”

If you are interested in voting, head to freep.secondstreetapp.com/2020-Best-of-Detroit/ and register for free to cast your votes. Voting can be done once a day for all available categories. Those who are specifically looking to vote for Schoolcraft can go to the “Kids & Education” Category and select the “Local College” to vote.
