Pageturners was very proud to host a Meet-the-Author event with Loung Ung for her powerful book, ‘First They Killed MyFather’, about her family’s experiences during the Cambodian genocide. This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of this atrocity. The event took place on Nov. 11, 2025 and was held in the Kehrl Auditorium starting at 10:00 a.m.
Ung discussed her book and was available for book signing afterwards to meet with students, staff, faculty and community members.
