The Ocelots locked down defensively, limiting the Monarchs to missing numerous shots in the final quarter and forcing difficult, contested shots on nearly every possession.
This defensive intensity translated into offensive opportunities. Schoolcraft controlled the pace, capitalized on second chances, and gradually built a lead. The Ocelots outscored Macomb by 13 points in the final quarter, turning a close game into a decisive 10-point victory.
Schoolcraft finished the game with a dominant 48-35 rebounding advantage, including 20 offensive rebounds that resulted in 18 second-chance points. The team also benefited from their deep roster, as the bench outscored Macomb 24-4, providing energy and stability throughout the game.
