I didn’t know what to expect when I called the Student Activities Office for the first time in 2019. I was a lost kid who had all the ambition in the world, but I didn’t have the motivation to focus that passion. “The Connection” served as an outlet to sharpen my inspiration and focus my thoughts and questions in a meaningful direction. That was four years ago, and since then I’ve had the honor to do pretty much almost every role under the sun. Now I feel like a slightly less lost kid with plenty of opportunity to match that motivation that had been missing. “The Connection” has become so much more to me in this time. It’s been an honor to explore the lives and tell the stories of so many people. I am proud to have been able to share this experience with so many people who have become such close friends and I’m here for one last year to close out the chapter.
